Meet Nelly This is Nelly, she was turned in as a stray at the shelter. She is so very thin, her bones stick out all over! Nelly was at the vet a couple of days ago and it was determined that she had diabetes and the level was super high, so high that she should not be walking ... but she is! The vet did not do anymore tests on her because he said that she was going to die anyway. :( That's enough to make you cry. We would like to take her to another vet and do more tests to see if there is a chance that we could save her. Her face looks old but her teeth are pearly white and her tail wags when you talk to her. She can barely see due to the cataracts in her eyes, this could have been caused by the diabetes. We are reaching out for donations to help with her medical expenses, even $1 would help. (If everyone gave a dollar we would have enough to pay for her initial testing and maybe even some of her medication) We do not know what her bills will be but everything received will be spent on Nelly to try and save her. Maisy
Maisy was the result of yet another forclosure. She was at the shelter with her brother and sister, they were all surrendered together and her brother was adopted but Maisy and her sister Lavern are still looking for their forever home. Maisy is 2 years old, upt to date on all of her shots, spayed and still very playful. Are you her forever home?

Maggie is a 3 year old Boxer/Rotti mix. She has had a hard life already. She was found severly emaciated and had been nursing puppies. Her guardian angel nursed her to a good weight then she tested positive for heartworm. She has completed her treatment and has made a full recovery. She is a beautiful dog with a beautiful personality! She loves everyone.
